Syrian female acting unusual after her adventures in a hole in the kitchen

My husband and I recently got a syrian female roughly 3 weeks ago and she is awesome! She came out into her new home in 2 days and was interested in us on day 3 and was comfortable being held.
She's really curious and loves attention! We have been trying to have play time/roaming in space spaces like her playpen but she seems to hate the pen everytime, even with activities, food, etc so we recently boarded up our kitchen to have safe free roaming, (our kitchenette and all cupboards etc are all flush to the ground so there are no gaps for her to get into but as we were playing, she found a tiny hole I didn't see and she went right up inside.... I freaked out but my husband just sat by the hole with her wooden climbing sticks and some food and she came right out on her own around 5 minutes later. She was covered in dust so we dusted her off and put her into her sandbox to clean up. She was playing with my husband in her cage not long after that and all seemed well. However, I checked up on her an hour later and she was in her house.. at 10pm.. which isn't normal for her. She's usually up and about until 6-7am. Her sniffing sounds more intense but no clicking or deep heavy breathing, just intense sniffs. Tonight she came out and had food and water, and chewed on some of her sprays then went back into her home at 9pm.

Would I be worried? Or is this normal?
