Post Advice on why our hamster has become lethargic

Hi all, could I ask for some advice regarding our 9 month old Syrian male hamster Teddy. Up until a month ago Teddy appeared to not be eating, making squeaking noises ( which was new) and not active. We took him to the Vet who couldn’t find anything wrong. He has since started eating and we are giving him water through a syringe just to make sure he is getting fluids. However he is still very lethargic, eyes are closed and we are finding him it the corners of his cage or laying in his tubes.
Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Is his cage in a colder area? Because it's a possibility that your hamster's instincts are to hibernate, as many domestic hamsters become lethargic in long periods of cold weather.
However, you posted this a while ago, so has anything else changed? Is Teddy doing better now?
I hope all goes well,
