Re: Please identify this hamster
No there will be no rex and no long haired UNLESS the female carries the gene for rex and long hair.
To be long haired you need two genes for long hair so lhlh one from each parent. The male is lhlh so he will give one. The female may be a carrier lh- but you don't know as you don't have a pedigree.
Same with rex. The male is rxrx (if he is rex though I'm not 100% on that)
The satin is dominant so you only need one satin gene to be satin so he is Sasa (note the capital letter for dominant. SaSa hamsters can have thin sparse coats so don't breed this. Some of his offspring will get the Sa gene and some will not.
You can read some basic genetic info here: Genetics and Inheritance

Re: Please identify this hamster
Oh, I thought that since the father is a long-haired rex paired with a short-haired agouti would not have any rex babies, but rather the babies are going to carry their father’s genes; hence they became rex carriers. The male is a pure rex, and he has curly whiskers.

Re: Please identify this hamster
The pups will be rex carriers but they will not be rex themselves.

"their pups are not rex but will be long-haired rex carriers, correct?"
I asked this from post number #11, but you answered "no." Hahaha, I was confused back then. Thanks, souffle. Everything is made clear now.

Re: Please identify this hamster
Please consider the ethics before attempting to breed your hamsters. Why would you want to breed two hamsters with unknown pedigrees for example. What would the pairing contribute to the fancy. How would you afford/home the pups. All important things to consider

I'm glad that you asked. It happened accidentally; my female golden agouti escaped and jumped inside my male's bin cage. I have several adopters, most of whom are my cousins; I will keep one for myself. I bought several bin cages, each 150 liters, from a warehouse for $5 each; housing is not a problem. As for their food, I have Versele Laga (Crispy Muesli Hamster & Co) with protein blocks and what I have on the fridge, e.g., vegetables, chicken, etc., all safe for hamsters.

Back to the original topic, I've messaged the breeder, who said that my Male Rex's parents are Solid Black Rex and Choco Satin Rex (Carrier). Is it possible to tell what his color is?
He is Heterochromia.

Re: Please identify this hamster
It's not possible to tell from the parents colours. Black is recessive so one parent has two black genes (aa) He will have one of these. Chocolate is black with rust so aabb. He will have one black and one rust from that parent (ab)
In theory he should be black and the only gene that will cover up the black is cream. (ee)
If both parents carried cream then it is possible.
The only way he can have red eyes or eye is if he also has cinnamon (pp) also recessive and could be carried by both parents.
Heterochromia is fairly common especially if there is a pattern in the mix.
For him to be mink he would need two cream, two cinnamon and also the dominant umbrous gene so eeppUu or eeppUU.
Black can hide umbrous so possible.
That's a big mish mash of genes which makes breeding very unpredictable.

Re: Please identify this hamster
Could it be that he is Champagne (aabbpp)? According to Syrian Hamster Self Color Mutations - Welcome to HamsterDB, Champagne is produced by combining Black, Cinnamon, and Chocolate, and his parents, according to the breeder, are Black and Chocolate.
