Re: Clive
That's the feedback from the exotics vet which doesn't mean that he has it. My vet picks the exotics vet's very expensive brains even though she has a lot of hamster knowledge herself.
I always thought that Clive has poor genetics due to poor breeding so i'm not surprised that things are starting to go wrong at a year old.
He's happy and enjoying life which is the main thing. Anything that crops up healthwise, we'll just have to deal with it with whatever means are best for him.

Re: Clive
I remember you saying you think Clive has poor genetics.
You are so right, Clive is happy and full of beans.

Re: Clive
Clive is the only Syrian of all five of them, including our late Henry, who sleeps in a cave. He often sleeps by the entrance, almost like he's guarding his hoard.
Sometimes he goes into his house but locks the door by blocking it with substrate when he comes out. He must keep some valuables in there.

Re: Clive
Yes, Clive mostly sleeps underground.
Often i can hear him cluttering about with his whimzee and food. Sometimes when we call him for his porridge, he squeals and squawks loudly until he surfaces, sees the porridge, goes quiet and tucks in.
