Hello Jack
As already mentioned on my Foster hamsters thread, Jack has been adopted by my OH.
I was also struggling to let him go because Jack made himself at home so quickly. He responded to our voices in a matter of days, started to come to his door for a stroke and loves free roaming.
Someone very lovely and caring with a great habitat wanted to adopt him so i feel guilty for denying Jack this opportunity. I'm also wondering if we are a bit selfish because Jack's little grey face reminds us of Henry.

She's looking for a younger one like Jack who is only three months and Peppe is a year. Considering a hamster's short lifespan, this is understandable.

Re: Hello Jack
Jack is a delightful, calm hamster and has made himself at home. He's another early riser but more patient than Rodney. Jack will wait for his hourly free roaming slot without making a fuss (will be increased once Peppe has been rehomed) and run around his cage and wheel. I've adjusted his Alaska so he can run a whole circuit above ground.

Re: Hello Jack
Jack has grown into a big hamster and he loves his food but gets plenty of exercise running on his wheel and the hamster playground.
He seems to think of himself as small and slim squeezing into the dwarfs sandpit like that.

Jack absolutely is adorable and yes I can see why you want to keep him - and he knows you.

Re: Hello Jack
Someone's worked up an appetite after a good freeroaming session.
