Oh yes, Hammy could well have more than one nest.
Depends on the hamster. Rory has always slept in his house but with Jack we never know where he appears from when called for his porridge.
A friend just jokingly remarked that Jack looks savage and like he's going to go for me in the sputnik photo.
I guess i must have been eating something to make big softie Jack look fierce.

Someone very lovely and caring with a great habitat wanted to adopt him so i feel guilty for denying Jack this opportunity. I'm also wondering if we are a bit selfish because Jack's little grey face reminds us of Henry.

No way there should be any selfish guilt. Just look at that photo again. Jack is living his opportune moment, it shows! All hunkered in comfy cozy happiness.

Re: Hello Jack
This morning my OH was standing by Clive's cage calling "Clive, Clive your porridge is here!" but Jack next door came rushing out of his nest and stood by his porridge bowl spot meerkating. Bit like, "sod him, where's mine?"

Re: Hello Jack
That has made me chuckle! Jack, like Rabbit, sounds very porridge oriented x

Re: Hello Jack
Jack just now, facing a dilemma in the shape of an open cage door and his food bowl.
Not surprisingly, he stopped at the food bowl en route to his door for free roaming time.

Lol! He's back in his cage now and went straight to his food bowl but what to make of this expression, lol.
