Yes, Rodney is a lovely hamster.
Tonight he went on a long evening stroll and did a couple of rounds on the wheel.
I hid a cheerio in the mushroom which he found and ate.

I sometimes worry thinking that he's not eating enough but he likes softened science selective and eats food that's not from his bowl.
There was some dwarf hamster mix in this mushroom as well and he hoovered that up. He hangs around the cereal cupboard in the kitchen and i'm sure that he can smell the cereals. In fact, he tried to get into the cupboard!

He got really excited in there. Cheerios are his favourite.

That's how i feel when i go to Greggs for my omelette roll. I love omelette but could never make a decent one myself.

It's so lovely to spend quality time with Rodney. He gets up early when he wants to go on an evening stroll and he does his shopping at the same time.

He walks around at a leisurely pace, stopping for a quick sniff here and there before heading for the cereal store. He loves that store and spends a good part of his evening stroll in there.
Someone must have dropped a cheerio in there. What a lucky find and quickly pouched.
More walking to get the steps in and then off to the mushroom grain store to stock up on essentials.
Taxi!! Time to go home, quick drink, grab some andrex on the way back to the house for a well deserved sleep.

Rodney is so mellow now and has slowed down to realize that there's a human who loves him.
