Re: Rodney
How cute he likes to watch other hamsters. It is lovely of you to look after the hamsters until they get to the rescue.

Re: Rodney
Rodney asked to come out tonight and went for an evening stroll. He was a bit wobbly at first and didn't exactly pick up speed but he enjoyed it.
He went to bed after his walk.

Re: Rodney
Nice that he wanted some out of cage time, even if just for a little stroll.

Re: Rodney
Yes, both the old boys came out for a walk tonight. I did go looking for Rory just now and found him dozing behind the bathroom bin.
Had to laugh at Jack when he was out free roaming. He had been out for quite some time and must have gotten hungry because he sat in the empty playground snack bowl waiting for me to pick him up.

Re: Rodney
Ha, ha, that made me smile too. One nodding off behind a bin and one sitting in the food bowl, thinking ‘please miss, can I have some more’. such adorable characters.

Re: Rodney
Aww! So cute to wait in his bowl hoping you would feed him and for Rory to sleep behind the bin.

Re: Rodney
Rodney had a night in and keeping warm.
He came out of his house for a bit and sat by his door while i chatted and stroked him.
I got some toilet paper and tore it into strips with him helping by trying to grab it. Rodney pouched some and was just heading for his house when i showed him a small monkey nut.
Rodney then sat there and pulled some toilet paper out of his pouches to make room for the nut! Food always wins.

Re: Rodney
This is so lovely how nice he was helping with the toilet paper strips ready to go back to his nest, but then the wonderful scent of the monkey nut drew him back.
Food always wins here too with Hams, especially a monkey nut! In fact he gives a signature wiggle of excitement for a monkey nut that we don’t see with any other food.
