He seemed happy tonight. Probably because he got a chance to climb. He climbed around on top of the glass jars and things on this shelf which he enjoyed. He's gone to bed now. To get into an unexplored room must have been quite an adventure for an old man.

This is so cute, so pleased he’s been on an adventure tonight and had fun exploring. Adorable photo.

I'm just taking the lounge apart because Rodney got it into his head that he HAS to free roam in there.

My own fault because i left the kitchen door ajar so he followed me in. I bodyguarded him around the lounge and kitchen last night and identified a couple of hazards. The gaps at the dishwasher are too small but i'm going to block them off and the fridge. He just got into position to try and squeeze under the fridge when i grabbed him so that needs blocking off with a blanket.

The lounge is safe but i'm checking it inch by inch anyway cleaning it at the same time.

I don't ever spring clean but i hamster clean.

Lol I prefer the term 'hamster clean' to spring clean. I bet Rodney is going to have a wonderful time.

Rodney climbed straight into the one and only houseplant within his reach! I lifted him off it, dirty paws and all just for him to try again.

My mind was so set on hazards like cables, gaps etc that i forgot about the plant.
Henry was like that and would climb into houseplants to dig in the compost. I put a plantpot with coco earth and a safe herb in his cage which was ignored.

Lol that is typical!

Funny Henry ignored the safer alternative you gave him.

I just sat by Rodney's cage eating a banana when his face appeared at his door looking at me! He had this outraged expression on his face like, how dare you eating banana without offering me some. I put a small piece on his dish which he quickly pouched before going back in his house. I'm surprised i didn't get chirped at.
