Re: Our Rory
The old man is still going strong and let's his presence be known when he wants out. He still headbutts the bridge from underneath instead of standing on it to come out the easy way. 20220901_220325.jpg

Re: Our Rory
Couldn't help but laugh at Rory fighting with the yoghurt pot just now. It kept tipping when he put his paw on it and his little tongue was licking like mad.

Re: Our Rory
They love licking out pots don't they? You make me feel mean seeing that - I think Raffy needs a pot to lick out too.

Re: Our Rory
All his life, Rory has pee'd in his house.
Not in his nest, he's always kept that dry but the little ceramic en suite toilet opposite.
I used to clean it once or twice a week but when he got old he started to drink and pee more so i cleaned it every second day when he was out of the cage.
Now, at 2.4 years old, he suddenly decided to only pee in his sandbath opposite his house and use the en suite
toilet as his bin for his poops and leftover food!

Re: Our Rory
Maybe with age really does come wisdom and he has finally sussed out how to keep this annoying human away from his bedroom.

Re: Our Rory
I've never known a hamster change a long established and fundamental habit like Rory did. I wonder if he'll stick to it.
