Re: Our Rory
That is very interesting. I wonder if he will stick to this too.

Re: Our Rory
They are clever. He realises he’s peeing more and it’s leading to more disturbance - so doing the sensible thing of peeing where there’s more sand. Also I think they don’t like the smell of urine in their house when they pee more. They generally try and keep pee away from the nest and some of ours have covered the pee’d on sand with substrate to keep it clean and tidy and less smelly!

Re: Our Rory
It always amazes me how tidy and houseproud many Syrians are. Pretty much the opposite of the tiny tornados called Robos.

Re: Our Rory
Wow, this is clever, keeping his nest clean smelling, using one for wee and one for poops!
Great photos with the yogurt pots, looks like he’s lovin that.

Re: Our Rory
Rory and his coconuts. He sat in his before he wanted to come out, had a quick run around and then headed for the coconut in a basket with spare hamster stuff.

Re: Our Rory
Aw! How cute to see his face peeping out.
I am trying to work out how he got in the coconut. Hmm. Did he manage to slip his body past the grids?

Re: Our Rory
Hmm, Rory isn't looking too bright tonight and his eyes are a little crusty. He came to his door but then changed his mind about coming out, got some food and went back to bed. I suppose at 2.5 years old that's understandable.

Re: Our Rory
This extra sleep made all the difference. Rory rattled the bars demanding to get let out and now he's running around in the playground.
This happens quite a bit. Rory gets up early and looks like he's on his last legs then has another sleep and runs around on the floor but wants the entire space to himself.
