Default Savic Heaven metro

I have found someone selling this cage close to me, just wondering if ok for a Syrian, dimensions 50,80,50 so only slightly smaller then the plaza I was going to get which is 50,100,50.

I would go with the plaza for a Syrian, the extra 20cm in length is a lot more than you might imagine & the hamster heaven would be a bit small, it's also only about 37cm high, the 50cm is with the penthouse bit on top, so you wouldn't get a syrian size wheel in there.

I’d also go with the Plaza. I have the Savic Ruffy (same dimensions, just no tubes etc) and it is very difficult to fit a 28cm wheel because of the low height (50cm includes the height of the tubes), it’s also too low to add platforms once you’ve added deep substrate for burrowing, and syrian size toys. You can only fit a few toys in before it feels claustrophobic.

As the other have mentioned the Hamster Heaven isn’t 50cm tall instead only 37cm - this confused me when I was looking to get this cage a few years back - as they measured the cage including the penthouse. So the Savic Plaza would be the better cage to go for as it is larger meaning you can add lots more toys and enrichment inside plus have plenty of room for 28cm wheel (very tight squeeze in hamster heaven) and deep bedding.

I don’t know if you were aware that the plaza is also on special offer at the moment at pets at home (I think the cage is only available online) and instead of being £75 it’s is now only £56.25. Offer is on until the 4th Dec.
