Bigfoot the Syrian
Just moved back home from Uni and met my little brother’s new Syrian Bigfoot! Poor little guy has been living in a mini Duna fun with 2 toys and no wheel
I’ve finally managed to convince my parents he needs an upgrade and they’re planning to buy either the Alaska or Barney cage for him in a few weeks but until then I’ve given his cage a little makeover.
I converted it back to a regular mini duna (he was a tunnel sleeper and bar chewer) and borrowed some stuff from my hammies to give him a naturl set up. He seems much happier already! Unfortunately there’s no room for a wheel but I’m making sure he gets lots of exercise outside his cage for now.

Re: Bigfoot
Update! My parents are no longer wanting to upgrade Bigfoot’s cage “if his cage is too small, they wouldnt sell it” so I’m moving him into a bin cage for a few weeks until I can afford a larger cage for him. Unfortunately I dont have any bins bigger than 65x50 cm but at least he’ll have burrowing space!
He’s been taming well and is already a lot calmer and more confident than he was when I first met him but it’s been a struggle getting my brother to actually give Bigfoot the attention he needs so at this point I’ve pretty much adopted him as my own hammie haha

Re: Bigfoot
Poor thing! Glad he’s in your hands now. Good that he’s taking up nicely too.

Re: Bigfoot
Congrats on Bigfoot! I’m so glad you got him from that situation! Glad to hear he is getting more confident!
