Lovely photos! He is very brave coming to the door. And I also like the rear end in the salt pig

Reminds me of Charlie - he used to do things like that - turn his back on you!

Thank you Sasha, Hammy 992, cypher, TL and Serendipity. That last photo made me chuckle too. Even though he eventually turned around in the salt pig, he just would not put his head out. He is rather big for it now but he still loves it.

Today was the Real London show at Bracknell. I took Maestro for the pet class.
First up is his result!
Then I asked him to pose with his rosette. It is much bigger than him.
By the end he just wanted to find somewhere darker to go back to sleep. So he was allowed back home with some treats-of course!

Well done and congratulations Maestro for placing first in the pet class. I think you are in for some special treats for doing so well. Maestro also looks so very handsome posing with his rosette and certificate.

Thank you ff (hope you saw the guinea pig photos on the show thread, you were one of those I had in mind!) SKB, Serendipity, cypher and TL.
The show was slightly nerve wracking as I only arrived with a few minutes to spare to register him because of nearby roadworks! I was very proud of him because he was so well behaved on being woken up so many times at unusual times for him.
I thought he would sulk last night. I left him snoozing in his carrier when I got home to use the chance to investigate and clean out his nest and hoard. Instead he was out at evening feeding time and came to the front to see if there were more treats for him. I suppose he thought the afternoon ones needed supplementing in view of his diminished hoard!
