Mogget's Corner [PanLuna's Photo Thread]

Hello, for those who have not seen my intro post (second one at that), I just recently got a new hamster on the 21st of April. She and I clicked at a local pet shop. I would have preferred to find a responsible breeder or rescue hamster, but the heart got in the way.

Anyways, I named her Mogget. The shop said she could be as old as 6 months, but not over a year old. Not the most reliable there. She is a Syrian and a black eyed cream. She weighed 149 grams as of yesterday.

I wanted to make a thread where I can post pictures of her, because I find myself snapping a lot.

Oh, and I also have 3 cats. Apollo who turned 6 in March (Calico), Phoebe who will be 6 in June (Tabby), and Hera who will be 5 in May (Tortoise Shell) Phoebe was from the animal shelter, Apollo was from a stray cat who had a litter under somebodies porch, and Hera was rescued from another unwanted litter. Have had them all since kittens. [Sorry OT ramble]

Mogget: [She no longer has the green house, we got her a wooden house.]

Who ordered the hampresso to go?

Her bedding is deeper than it looks in the photos. I measured it to be 8 inches, but she was digging and tossing it around, so it is not an even 8 all over the tank. Some areas is much higher.

Her tank is 36in length, 16in high (thought 17 previously, but the lid area wouldn't count), and 18in width. It is the biggest we can do for now. She seems pleased as punch, though!

I saw your introduction thread, but it is lovely to have more photos. She is gorgeous and I can’t wait for more updates

I love the picture of her staring out of her house. Her face is a really pretty shape, so pointed and delicate.

Aww what a lovely girl. She doesn't look like a black eyed cream though. I think she is Ivory myself. She is very pretty <3

I was doing her color based off a website I came across. I am not good with colors, yet. Thank you for your comment! She is amazingly adorable, but I might be biased. hehe

I think everybody should have one! The only problem is that they are too cute to drink. hehe She enjoys that cup. So far, it's the only way I can get her to come out of the tank. Once out, she is fine with being handled.

Aww... Mogget's so cute! I liked the "hampresso," lol.
The cage, being around 600 inches, is a decent size for a Syrian (though obviously expansion won't do any hurt). And the bedding depth too is also really good. She's lucky to have such a fine home with you! Must be having a ball.
