Re: Memoirs of a spoilt hamster - by Khaleesi
So, I have just got through my fourth peg in two days, but this time I did it in style and left presents for servant when she woke up this morning. Firstly, I really worked hard to not just chew the ends like I have with my other pegs. No, this time I chewed it so much it broke apart. I kept half of the peg in my cage and threw the other one out through the bars of my cage. The michief gods were looking down upon me, as the peg landed underneath the door. When servant got up and tried to come into the room, it acted like a wedge and she had to force the door open. I laughed LOTS at this. BUT WAIT, thats not even the best bit. In the process of destroying the peg, the metal bit got stuck on the bars. Now servant is puzzled how to get it off (see pic she took) . Enjoy that riddle, Servant. You are welcome mwahahaha
Please excuse me while I chuckle my way to my nest and enjoy a blissful sleep dreaming of servants angry confused face.
Khaleesi x

Clever Khaleesi - that's the most fun way to eat pegs! Add lots more metal bits to your cage and then bop them about all night making weird rattling and twanging noises to help your pet human become nocturnal This is a tried and tested top tip from the hamsters in my hamster room.

Re: Memoirs of a spoilt hamster - by Khaleesi
Greetings again strange beings.
So last night a friend of servants came round to play with me. I had lots of fun running all over her and servant. Servant called her friend "Sandra". I tried my well known trick I like to play with visitors, the Catch Me test. Sandra failed. But dont worry, I only fell off her arm into her lap, so not far and Im ok. I ran back to servant and she gave me lots of cuddles. Here are some pictures Sandra took of my face afterwards.
Servant wouldnt let me watch Hamster TV, so I got mad and tried to eat the remote
Servant was baffled that Sandra couldnt seem to smell my unique perfume I am currently wearing. Even though servant played with me lots last night and said she loves me, she also says my unique perfume is too strong and gives her a headache every 4 days that lasts 2 days at a time. She said if I had pocket money (surely she means pouch money?) she would get me to pay for all the headache tablets she takes these days. She looked very silly last night with a tissue stuck up her nose whilst playing with me. I tried to eat the tissue. Servant wasnt happy.
Servant slept in my room last night while Sandra stayed in her bed. I felt guilty about giving Servant a headache, so I tried to play as quitely as possible last night and not wake her up too much. I did still manage to destroy another peg and leave another metal toy on the cage for her to play with when she woke up. But not before I played with it a bit first. At 6am. She woke up, stole it from me then went back to sleep. Thief! She didnt even say Thank You for the toy, how rude. But she did give a stubby carrot and a cuddle before I went to bed, so I forgive her.
Khaleesi x

Re: Memoirs of a spoilt hamster - by Khaleesi
Khaleesi looks beautiful
I always had females and I remember that they didn't smell particularly well, but I thought that it was because they weren't potty trained and his cage was smaller, with a substrate with poor odor control etc... however when I read your post I always wonder... it was the environment or it was their smell?
They love throw us concerts, and we are always so ungrateful!! Us humans are the worst

"Catch me Test" that made me laugh too much :') - our hamsters aren't being dipsy, they are performing the perfect trust exercise.
Pocket money. Shouldn't that be pouch money?
