Sammy the Ham

Everyone I would like you to meet Sammy, my (roughly) 1 year old syrian hamster. He is a cute little guy, or at least I think so, and I am happy to be his momma. I rescued adopted him after he was returned to a let store. I'm sure someone's child grew tired of him. He was still only about 9 weeks old when I got him. He loves running on his wheel and plotting escape attempts.

I'd love to see some of your syrians as well.

Also, any idea on his coloring? I was thinking golden banded?
