Thank you, Razor, Cypher, and BP. Snickers's resting place looks extra lovely during this time of the year when all of the many flowering trees are in full bloom all around also. It really is a special place to come and feel closer to all of our family's little ones. Thank you for all of the well wishes for my little house finch family, too. They are very dear to me already. Cypher, I didn't realize that there are no house finches in the UK. I am extra pleased that I can share a bit of these lovely birds' lives with you then as I have enjoyed seeing the gorgeous pics that you and other HC members have shared of the many gorgeous birds that are common in European countries but not here. I just wish that I was able to capture the male house finch's true beauty because sadly my pics just didn't do it justice. I will try again if he and the weather are cooperative next time, lol. Razor, I am glad that you had a few giggles with Eros's mealworm saga. She really is as silly as can be. BP, Artie and Eros are so food oriented and quite greedy if I am to be honest, but that just makes them all the more endearing and silly. They really are a crazy pair, lol.

This evening, I had realized that Eros had finished all of her millet spray in her food bowl so I decided to give her another one since she really loves it a lot. When I took Eros out to play and have cuddle time, she decided to carry her millet spray along with her. She looked so hilarious having the two ends of the VERY long spray dangling from her mouth and swinging from side to side as she looked at me. I totally cracked up laughing and wished that I had another hand to capture the moment on camera. It really was priceless. I know that I will have that image in my memory forever though.

Can't a girl have any privacy while grooming herself? I have lots of luxurious, wavy fur to style and my extra long, curlicue wisps behind my ears need a little more primping. (Oh, Eros, I really do love your curly wisps and how you have two different colors on each strand of your beautiful fur.)

The pictures of Eros are so cute!!!! I know our little hamsters are little eaters, Hamper has gotten his food bowls half empty already! And he has two! Also I LOVE Eros' Hetero Eyes. (Before you ask, Hetero Eyes is the genetic mutation that causes one to have two different eye colors.)

Also, I hope for the best for those house finches! They really look cute and I bet the tiny eggoes (eggs) will hatch the most beautiful birds!

I know right on third picture, hamsters have such beautiful fur coats! Hamper has two stripes, one is blonde and goes across the other and the other is big and white and it goes all the way around! It's so adorably beautiful!

Thanks, Cypher and BubbyandHamper! BubbyandHamper, thank you and yes, I am familiar with heterochromia, and I personally think it adds to Eros's charm. I'm glad you love them, too. She probably believes it makes her skills in hypnosis to have me obey all that she requests that much more successful, and she would be right, lol. "Yes, Master Eros. . . . whatever you wish, your Highness and Ruler of ALL!!!!!" I was actually referring to Eros's white color at the base of her fur and how it gradually changes to the most radiant, golden-orange color top coat at the mid to end portion of most of her strands of fur. I believe this is because she has the agouti trait of being a cinnamon banded, and she really enjoys showing it off to me when she grooms herself. I do love her gorgeous band and her heart shaped marking in it, too. Hamper has an absolutely gorgeous coat, and I love his banding; he is one handsome ham. I totally agree with you that the variations in hamsters' coat colors and patterns are just marvelous, and I am so pleased that they are all so unique looking and special.

Thanks, BP! I am sure Eros is blushing under her fur coat at you calling her a model. She is hopping up and down on her hindlegs requesting to come out and give you whisker kisses (and probably receive a few extra treats too, tbh, lol). She also cocked her head to the right and her ears perked up when she heard that Veikko doesn't approve of his millet. I guess you could say she was totally in shock by the news.

Psst, Veikko; it's your ham-buddy Eros here!!! I posted this on yours and Delphia's S-T-R-I-N-G-Y thingy, but I am adding this message here too just because I wanted to emphasize how important it is to eat your share of millet. I just heard from our mums that you don't eat your millet sprays. I am here to tell you that they are ABSOLUTELY, superDUPER scrumptious and a total must have! Give these delicious yummies a few more chances, and I'm sure you will be a HUGE fan of them just like me. I can squeak from experience that it never pays off to not give new treats a real try; if I would have stuck to my original impression of mealworms being yucky, I wouldn't be the mealworm-crazed ham that I am today, lol. On a scale from one to eight, I would give millet sprays a whopping eight digits up since I only have four on each front paw. Btw, millet sprays also make great blankets for your cage buddies, too - just ask my whimzee chew buddy Alli.

I am giving you, Delphia, Artie, Sparky, Snappy, and Feliks lots of whisker kisses from way across the pond so please be sure to catch them as I don't want them going to complete strangers. HeeHEE. . . . I just realized that your mum and hamdad just need to add one more lucky and amazing ham to your hamily and then you can refer to yourselves as the Seven Dwarfs with your mum being Snow White and hamdad being Prince Charming, of course.

Some lovely photos of your gorgeous girl, dreamtreee. I am with BP with the tufty bits! Good on you Eros, tuck into that millet! The finch nest is such a treat to have close by. Fingers crossed for a good hatching. Even though I live in London, I live within walking distance of the River Thames plus a couple of park areas with water. My H is made to walk these ways to check on the growing families of birds. It is more successful now than earlier when the Spring weather was so unusually cold and some birds were caught out.
Finally a stunning display for Princess Snickers. How fitting for her.
