Eros - A 007 Hammy Secret Agent!

Thanks, Serendipity, Coco, Cypher, SKB, BP, and Turrican! I told Eros that you all approved, and she suddenly stopped zooming around in her wheel just long enough to poke her head out and make a silly face showing her happiness.

She has been extra crazy and hyper this evening, or maybe I should say early, EARLY morning, lol. She was zipping around her cage and going in and out of all of her boxes, toys, etc. She was a fully charged Energizer ham, and my very tired eyes could hardly keep up with her, lol. I just died laughing at all her silliness and wished that I had half the energy that she does early in the wee hours of the morning.

After she calmed down from all of her excitement, I closed her lid and decided to go back to sleep. Of course, she instantly begged for some cuddles. Needless to say, she was in my hand in no time at all and we were both snuggled in a blanket on the sofa. She recharged her battery as I stroked her fluffiness for quite some time. Then, she scurried up my arm and onto my shoulder for a sweet whisker kiss on my cheek. She sure is a sweetheart, and I giggled as her whiskers tickled me. Before I knew it, she had convinced me to give her a few mealworms and we began to play hide-n-seek as she poked her tiny nose out from the blanket. She sure knows exactly how to get what she wants, and I am so very willing to give it to her, too.

Thanks, Cypher, BP, and Thin Lizzy! BP, I totally agree that our fluffies are the greatest and most effective alarm clocks ever. When my clock's alarm goes off, I just hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of extra snooze time; this is repeated for approximately half an hour, lol. However, when either Eros or Snickers is making extra noise in their cages, I'm up and out to greet them in a flash.

A few days ago, I was taking a Halloween photo shoot of Eros which I will post either on the actual day or when it gets closer to Halloween. It was lots of fun and I even made a miniature black cone hat with 2017 written on it. I thought there was no way Eros would even consider wearing it so I decided to place it on the ground as a prop instead. To my great astonishment, Eros had other ideas for it. She knocked it over, scooped it onto her left ear, and began prancing around proudly showing it off to me. She looked absolutely adorable and I could hardly believe my eyes that she actually enjoyed wearing it as an ear hat, lol. I was going to wait to share these pics with the rest of the photo shoot, but I just couldn't help myself and had to share them sooner because they were just too cute. I hope that you enjoy seeing them as much as we did taking them. So, here's to unexpected, wonderful surprises that my darling Eros created for our enjoyment. What a brilliant and creative idea you had, Eros!!!! Who needs a stand alone prop or a hat for the top of your head when you can have it beautifully adorn your ear, right?

Thanks, CMB! She certainly is a clever, kooky hamgal. She believes that if there is a will, there most certainly is a way. She always, ALWAYS makes the seemingly impossible become the possible, and she totally has a knack for surprising me thoroughly with her ability to get things done just like she likes it, too.

So Cute!! Eros looks adorable wearing her hat - so clever of her for putting it on herself as well as knowing how to pose perfectly with it! I really love the last photo.

Eros and I truly appreciate all your kind words, Cypher and SKB. Cypher, it appears that both of my fluffies appreciate accessorizing now and then. Snickers always loved it, but I never realized that Eros did, too. Maybe Snickers's appreciation for extra adornments has rubbed off on Eros, lol. SKB, I'm so surprised that I was able to capture Eros in those poses as she was running around and stopping and hopping. I guess it was just meant to be that I had a little extra luck on my side at the time. The last photo of Eros wearing the cone hat is my favorite one, too. I just love her adorable expression in that one.

As Snickers will be celebrating her 5th Adoption/Gotcha Day on the 21st of this month, I decided to have her decide which costume she wanted to wear for her upcoming celebration. Her choices were being a pumpkin princess or being a lime green caterpillar. She chose to be a caterpillar this year. I think it was quite fitting as she was the pumpkin princess last year.




I was also able to finally capture Eros running in her wheel at full speed without the picture being a big blur with some streaks showing the movement or her face isn't visible. She goes so fast in her wheel that it has been impossible to see her face clearly when she runs in a picture so I am feeling extra lucky today. Yippee for me!!! So, without further ado, here is my speedy Eros enjoying her Wheel of Speed! Such bliss for the both of us.
