Awww dreamtree such gorgeous funny pics of Eros. It was good to see Eros throwing herself in to the theme this month lol. I think I love the 6th (as Ruth said she does look so engrossed lol) and 7th pics the best. I love her one ear up one down look too, those pics where she has just woken up are brilliant, so looks so adorable and is bound to be able to fool the baddies with such a sweet face

Eros looks so incredibly gorgeous and fluffy as she has just woken up, but I also really like her one up and one down ear look - very cute!
Snickers is very beautiful too, she looks very happy and contented in those photos!

Thanks, SKB, you are so sweet! I am playing with Eros as I read your post out loud to my girls, and she again perked one ear up and flopped one ear down as if on cue. She certainly liked hearing that you thought she was very cute doing this. Snickers also popcorned around with happiness.

Today is Eros's 7 months Gotcha/Adoption Day! I decided to treat her with a double layer cheesy cake with an extra large mealworm candle. Of course, she was so quick and I was too slow with my camera button that I was unable to capture the pics of her with her cake while the mealworm candle was in place. Surprisingly, she just grabbed the mealworm, sniffed the cheesiness, and left the two pieces of cheese completely intact. Hmm. . . . how strange! She just carried it around with her like a toy and handed it back to me when she was through "playing" with it. We then had some outside of her bin time while she ran around in the living room and managed to play peek-a-boo under the sofa blanket and get a lot of extra cuddles in, too. When it was time to go back to her bin, she gently took the cheesiness from my fingers and pouched it to eat a few minutes later on her rainbow bendy bridge. She then begged for more, of course, lol.

Eros as always has me laughing loudly making Master Harvey come out to investigate the noise and I have updated him and I showed him the pics, he climbed onto my tablet too.

Thanks, Cypher and Thin Lizzy! Eros certainly did try to savor the cheesiness for as long as possible. However, she probably wouldn't be able to help resisting gobbling it all up if it was Master Chef Lizzy's scrumptious treats since she can't get enough of those, lol. I'm glad that Eros made you laugh, too.

Eros, Snickers, and I are doing fine at the moment. Family in harms way has evacuated but may need to evacuate again, but we are now doing last minute preps to prepare for Hurricane Irma hurricane warnings, tropical storms, tornadoes, severe flooding, and power outages. Quite scary, but we are praying that hopefully things will be looking better soon. We are also keeping our thoughts and prayers with all those suffering due to this and all the other natural disasters. I will keep you updated whenever I have a chance, but unfortunately my cell doesn't have internet so I may not be able to go on HC much if we truly do get the power outages, etc. that they are expecting. Until then, please try not to worry; we are getting as prepared as possible.

On a lighter note, while I was cleaning out Eros's bin and Snicker's cage to prepare them for any emergencies that may arise, I turned around to see Eros as happy as can be. She brightened up my day even though I was surrounded by darkness outside. I couldn't help taking a few pics of her in her carrier. She was making a paper towel nest and reminded me that all will be alright in the end. It's wonderful how our animals can make us focus on the lighter and brighter side of life even when we are scared, frantic, and exhausted. Thank goodness for family, friends, and animals.
