Eros Playing on Her Lego Castle - Continued
Peek-a-boo. . . I most definitely see YOU!!!! I love opening and closing my window to play such funny games with Mum who is laughing hysterically at me, by the way.

Now for a sly slink out of my hideout window and down the front side of my castle while Mum is so busy giggling so much that her eyes are all watery again. Wow, the two-legged, furless ones sure are quite amusing!

Oh no, and here I go showing my bum again! Who can blame me since entering gracefully wasn't a top priority in castle design for hammies? Oh well, enjoy!

Yippee, I made it to the top for the fiftieth time since I adopted Mum so I am truly Queen of Castle Luv-a-lot!

I rule the WORLD!!!!

Any questions? BTW to all of those H-U-M-A-N-S, please tell your hammies to come join me here for a fun party at my castle. We will have tons of yummies, and I am sure that we can find something that all of my hammy friends will think scrumptous. So don't be squeamish, there will be plenty more on the menu than mealworms and sweet peppers. LOL!

Well, TTFN because I have a Lego maze to solve, and I surely can't wait to see what Mum has for me this time.


Eros with her Lego Maze
Well I sure had fun playing in the Lego maze Mum constructed for me. She is always tweaking it to make it more and more of a challenge to go through, but I am most definitely up for any challenge - the more the better! Mum wanted to include a picture of the maze design for all of you to see, but I didn't want all of you to get dizzy or confused so we broke it already. I then had a chance to climb up and down all of the pieces scattered around the floor which I must say was equally fun. I sure love out-of-cage Mum time. I hope that you can all join us for tons of fun, too. Here I am after I found the exit out of the maze. Of course, there was a scrumptious treat and tons of cuddles and praising words from Mum waiting right there for me at the end of my mission. Mum thinks that I look quite regal and proud standing there in this pic. What do you think?


See you at the castle party, my furry friends! Please tell your two-leggeds that they are more than welcome to join the festivities as well. Although I don't think they will appreciate our yummy cuisine and won't fit in our castle or maze, they will definitely have a blast watching all of us being our wonderful hammyself.

Eros looks to be having lots of fun with that Lego! Makes me quite reminiscent about my Lego building days as a child haha. Are those some full pouches I see in that second photo? Still can't believe she fits inside that castle haha!

I like your Legoland castle and your very clever to find your way around your maze. I used to build Lego mazes, houses, tunnels etc for my previous hamsters.

AprilPearl and CMB, it truly was tons of fun doing this with Eros. I am constantly trying to find new ways to make things interesting for her. I constructed stuff like this with one of my previous hammies and it was a huge success so I thought I would do the same for Eros. Needless to say, she thoroughly enjoys it, too. Of course, I'm thinking it is most definitely a tie between who loves all of this more, Eros or me? LOL!

Here is a picture of my beloved, Yin. She was the inspiration for my making hammies Lego castles, mazes, etc. Sadly, she went to the Rainbow Bridge far too early. She was a true sweetie, and I miss her terribly everyday. RIP, my precious Yin, I hold your tiny pawprints in my heart always.


Yes, AprilPearl, Eros has part of her Alli in her cheek pouches again. She carries it around like a security blanket, I suppose. It's so cute and sweet that she loves it so much. Those Whimzee alligator chews are the greatest find EVER! We have already gone through a few bags already, LOL!

Eros looks like she has a lot of fun during her playtimes . It was so sweet seeing her searching for the mealworms - love the photo of Eros guarding her bendy bridge!
Lovely to see Queen Eros enjoying her lego castle - she looks very sweet poking her head out the window and when she beautifully posing on top! I can see why she likes to beg to come out for more playtimes when she has this much fun!

Also I also loved the photo of Eros in her cosy burrow enjoying nibbling on alli.

Yin was beautiful and I'm sure she is happy to see Eros enjoying your lego creations too!

Burakki, I only wish that I could have the expensive equipment and artistic eye to create pictures like a nature magazine photographer. I have my simple camera and try my best to capture the moment whenever it arises so I do appreciate that you like them. Although I would think it very exciting and would love to experience all of nature's great beauties, I know that I would never be fitted for any job as a nature photographer since I am terribly afraid of many creepy crawlies such as spiders, roaches, millipedes, centipedes, and mealworms to name just a few. LOL - it makes my skin crawl sometimes to put my fingers in Eros's mealworm container, but Mum's always do what's best for their babies so I find myself doing it a few times a day for her enjoyment and health. Hopefully, Marti will move her burrow so you can take pics of her, too. I would love to see her all snuggly in her bed.

I think your photos are good enough without expensive equipment. And I feel your pain with the crawling creatures. Funnily, when I was a child, I adored them. They were living in jars in my house. Except wasps. Those I feared since I was child. Unluckily for me, with age I started fearing all the insects... Marti doesn't like mealworms, so I don't have to deal with them, but when I had a lizard I had to feed him with alive crickets, mealworms, and cockroaches. Needless to say, those became my stepfather's responsibility. In February I was in NYC and there was this little food truck that gave out waffles for free if you ate them with fried crickets or mealworms. I chose crickets and they weren't as bad

I adore the playgrounds you create for Eros. I wish I had saved my legos to build a castle for Marti, but my dad threw it away Your Eros is such a little princess! Marti feels that they would become great friends and offers her to create a Royal Hamsters union

Aww I've gotten a bit behind with everyones threads this last week, but I've had a lovely time catching up with Eros and her mischief. I really loved the reflection pictures they were so good, I'm sure she was admiring her beauty

The lego pics are good too, well all the pics are great really, but lego was one of my favourite toys so it was lovely seeing Eros enjoying herself with it
