Meet Captain
Hi, I've just joined. I would like to introduce Captain, my male Syrian Hamster. He is four months old as of Monday. We bred some hamsters at work and I couldn't resist having him, his face was too cute. I was wondering what colour you think he is? All of his siblings came out in various colours. His mum was sable roan I think from looking at pictures of them, and his dad is red eyed cream banded.

I don't know a lot about syrian colours but whatever Captain's is it's very handsome!

He's so handsome! Welcome to HC  I'm afraid I'm not sure what color he is either but I'm looking forward to hearing more about him, great name by the way.

Yes he is still quite shy but hes only nipped me twice, his mum is quite the biter. That was the reason her old owner gave her up, and her brother paid no interest in her. They still got another hamster though, some people��.

So many people that just shouldn't be allowed to have hamsters. Or any animal, for that matter. That's why I love this site so much. It's so great seeing people care the way they do for animals who are ill treated so often.
