Dear Pumpkin,
Thank you so much for sharing your Willow Sticks talent with The Electric Hammy Orchestra, it really was the best night ever, although we all felt nervous, mom calmed us down by telling us that it was a good thing and that it meant the night would be a success.
I loved how fast and precise you were on the willow sticks, at one point during Mission Hampossible, your arms were a blur due to the speed.
The hampagne and hamousine was amazing, especially when we got safety harnesses so we could sit on the roof.
Looking forward to catching up face time on the hamnet.

Pumpkin has been continuing to improve her camouflaging skills in her current cage layout - if she not sitting in her usual place it does take me a little while to spot her but her ears normally gives away where she is!

This had been something I had been planning for a while but hadn't found the time to do it - so when I was trying to decide what to get for Pumpkin's birthday I thought it was the perfect time. Also this weekend she got a new fence around her Knuff shelf to replace the lollipop stick one I had before - as I was never quite happy with how her lollipop stick fence looked and finally found something which I thought would look better. So I'm really pleased with how everything now matches with one another and I like the way it brightens up that side of her cage up. Pumpkin also really likes her new house to as she has more room inside for her to build her cosy nest!

Harvey! It's me, Pumpkin! I had so much fun being part of the EHO and this was such a great idea of yours to organise it! Everyone is so musically talent and I learnt a lot from everyone - looking forward to trying out some of these different ways to play music for my mum when she sleeps - I'm sure she will find them really relaxing! Thanks again Harvey and looking forward to talking to you and all my ham friends on the hamnet soon!

I haven't taken many photos of Pumpkin this week - instead we've been having lots and lots of cuddles instead. But this afternoon Pumpkin decided to make and appearance which was handy as I was spot cleaning her cage and also needed to check her house as I had suspected that she might have been peeing in her there too - as the last few days I hadn't seen any pee in her sand bath. Luckily as I have been using part of a tissue box in her house recently - I could easily check her house and clean it out without disturbing her nest too much.

Then once I returned Pumpkin to her cage decided to inspect her sand bath and make sure everything was where it should be ...

Those pictures of Pumpkin going about her daily business are great. I really like how you can take pictures through the wall of a rank style cage without a base it bars getting in the way, like in a sure cage.

I'm so happy that Pumpkin had such a lovely 1st birthday. She looks absolutely precious in all of her birthday pics, and I am so glad that you were able to capture amazing photos of her with her birthday muffin. It looks absolutely hammelicious - what a brilliant idea, SKB! The DIY house and bridge look fantastic; they are truly lovely surprises for her birthday. You are extremely creative and artistic, and your hard work and love are so evident with the pieces you create for your sweetheart. I'm sure that she will always cherish and love them dearly. What a great ham mum. I also love her newest natural theme with all of the wonderful birthday gifts included. Pumpkin truly is a most deserving little princess and I am so happy that she is thoroughly enjoying all of the pampering, treats, and presents. I did spot the very illusive, camouflaged Pumpkin in that photo. I suppose it is due to me always spying on Eros while she is sneaking around and playing her spy games, lol. I also so love Pumpkin's last photo where she is partially sitting on her treat dish whilst enjoying her food in the food bowl. Pumpkin surely is an absolute stunning ham with such humorousness; she made me giggle at the last pic. I love, LOVE Pumpkin.

Pumpkin and The Giant Pineapple

When I went out shopping yesterday I found this really cute ceramic Pineapple shaped bird feeder - as soon as I saw it I instantly thought it would make a perfect hideout for Pumpkin. It was the only one left and was reduced to £4 (from £6) - so it was a very good price however it does have slight damage to the top although it still completely safe for Pumpkin to use - mainly just cosmetic so hopefully I will be able to mix a close enough paint match with some Plastikote. I just knew as soon as I saw it that I just had to have it - as it very difficult to find good sized cute Syrian-size ceramic hideouts. Although it a shame that I didn't have this last month for her tropical themed cage layout! Another thing I like about this hideout is that by it being a bird feeder is that I can secure the house to the top of the cage so if she decides to dig beneath the hideout it won't fall on top of her.

Here are a few photo I managed to get of Pumpkin investigating her Pineapple hideout. I think she likes it as Pumpkin decided it would be a good place to have a snack on some treats she had in her pouch as well as a safe place to bury them too!
Pumpkin is slightly out of focused in these photos. (Also in the photos you can see the slight cosmetic damage to the top).

Last night when Pumpkin was in her playbin, Pumpkin also decided to give be a little fright when I forgot to fully put the lid on her playbin - I took my eyes of her for a second and when I looked back she was perched on the edge of her box confused as what to do. Luckily she stayed there long enough for me to offer her my hand.
