Re: All About My Pumpkin
Thank You Cypher, pinkneon, Thin Lizzy, Cinnamon Bear and Hamsterita.
Pumpkin's 1st Christmas
Pumpkin had a special first Christmas. Pumpkin stayed up all night on Christmas Eve excitedly waiting for Santa Paw's arrival - She even tidied up her house making sure she definitely going to be on Santa Paw's good list. In the morning she had presents left for her - a box filled with treats and another filled with toys. Pumpkin didn't seem to interested in opening her presents but with a bit of help she got to see what Santa Paws had given her - A Rosewood Fruit Tree, P@H Tree Seed Treat, 2 Johnson's seed treats, 3 Whole Walnuts, Doughnut Treat, Seagrass and Corn Tunnel, a Santa and Reindeer Fabric House, and a Rosewood 3D Scene Chew. She had a little play, investigated her presents and had a chew on her Christmas fruit tree. In the afternoon Pumpkin got her Christmas Dinner a Brussel sprout, Roast Turkey and a piece of Carrot - which she took back to her house and had Christmas Dinner in bed - sounds like a great way to eat Christmas dinner!. Unfortunately I was unable to get her out in evening for her usual cuddle time. But I did have a quick cuddle later in the evening.
Every year for the last few years after Christmas I make trips to all my nearby p@h (I have 4 within a reasonable drive) - to see whether they have any Christmas items left for 50% off. Today I went to 2 stores, I picked up the wooden hamster house for £4 (normally £8 - I will be blocking off the small window) along with a few of my favourite items and some which I didn't previously purchased - also I couldn't resist another Santa House (this will be a spare and will be stored away for future use). Everything I got today would have cost £36 but at half price I bought everything for £18. I'm also planning another trip to another nearby p@h as I have a voucher from Pumpkin's p@h cracker - £1 off - which is valid to use from tomorrow.
Picture 1 - Pumpkin's Presents
Picture 2 - Christmas Fabric House Photos - Reindeer Peek-a-Boo, Finding Tasty Mealworms in a Christmas tree (house was a spare from last year also 50% off last year) and "Is there anything yummy in Santa's tummy?"
Picture 3 - 50% off P@H Haul from today and Pumpkin exploring her new house.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Pumpkin did really well with her Christmas presents, another ham who must have been very good to get so much from santa paws
Love the photos of her in her fabric houses.
That's a really good sale haul too.

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Thank you Cypher, Pumpkin is a such a sweet girl and I wanted her first Christmas to be special and I think she approved of the presents and tasty treats. It was so sweet seeing her in her Christmas fabric houses - did take multiple photos but only a few turned out okay and Pumpkin is to fast - she didn't seem to have any interest in chewing them just kept wanting to climb up them - Pumpkin will have them available to her during cuddle times on the sofa.
I'm so happy with my haul from yesterday - I've also visited a couple more today and picked up a few more items half price including - 2x Candy Cane Garlands, Dandelion Leaf Christmas Treats, Santa Log Set and a reindeer house (will be a spare) along with a few other items. I do enjoy Christmas sale shopping in p@h - I normally use these items all year round and 50% off make it worth it.

Blooming heck, Pumpkin's been so spoilt and rightly so! Sounds like the both of you had a wonderful first Christmas together and the pics are so adorable!
Harvey got spoilt too and I got majority of his gifts from P@H also! First Christmases are always that extra special. xxx

Re: All About My Pumpkin
Thank You Hamsterita, Thin Lizzy and Serendipity7000. Pumpkin did enjoy investigating all her new toys and treats. I agree Thin Lizzy that their first Christmas are always extra special. Pumpkin isn't the easiest to take photos of normally I used to distract my girls with treats so they would sit still but with Pumpkin that doesn't work - but I do get a couple of good ones which do bring out her lovely colours.
Happy New Year - 2017
Pumpkin and myself would like to wish everyone and their hamsters a Happy New Year and hope you all have a wonderful 2017.
