Woodstock's thread
Here we have my lovely strokable fluffy white syrian hamster Woodstock.
He is a little bald around the eyes but is otherwise in good health. He eats and drinks well and is always happy to be stroked.
He is one of the most laid back hamsters ever and I love him. He was an impulse buy from the local pet shop simply because he was white and fluffy and my hamster at the time (Harvest) was getting old.
He enjoys hunting around for his food then going back to bed for a long lie in before venturing out for lengthy sessions on his wooden karlie wheel!

Re: Woodstock's thread
How cute!
I love his foodbowl holder, where did you get it from?
Also, is there a reason why he's bald around his eyes, or has he always been that way?
His cage setup looks amazing!

Re: Woodstock's thread
Thanks hrl 20100. The food bowl holder is from zooplus and is called 'wonderland dinner table' only 5.99 and the bowls are ceramic. Really cute. I plasti-koted it just in case.
The baldness round his eyes is fairly recent. He seems fine in himself with a good appitite and lots of activity. No appearance of itchiness. Not sure what it is. Old age perhaps? He is around 15 months old.
Coco61, he is lovely isnt he? Couldnt resist when I saw him in the shop ...

Aw cute! I might just have to get one for Flump
Hm how strange! Could be old age I geuss, but 15 months isn't that old for a ham really... Could he be allergic to something in the cage maybe? Or overgrooming?

Re: Woodstock's thread
I am sure you will enjoy seeing Flump looking cute with that stand and dishes. I like to keep something near it to help Woodstock get to it easily.
Here is his other thread re; baldness.
Woodstock (syrian) bald round his eyes and thin fur

Re: Woodstock's thread
Wonderful Woodstock seems to be growning his fur back after one mite treatment. Got to give him another one tomorrow and again in ten days time.
