Default Friends?

Do you think if I got my 2 syrians out to play together in the play pen they would attack eachother? Whenever I have put them in the playpen in separate squares, they always put their noses through the bars to eachother, and then once, there was mayhem because they tried climbing into the other's square, both at the same time!! Cwoah! What do you think? Would they fight? or be friends?

They would fight to the death and could fatally injure each other in a matter of seconds. You shouldn't have them in the playpen next to each other. They could scratch one another's eyes out through the bars and it is extremely stressful for them to be next to another syrian in this way. They were most likely trying to climb the bars to fight.

They will most certainly not play and will likely attack and injure if not kill each other. Our males chatter their teeth if they even smell another nearbye. They can move very quickly. We once had two brothers out and on a large bed with a handler each. In a wink one shot across the bed and attacked the other. My thumb was in the way and he bit me, hanging on to the bone. He also just caught his brothers testicles. Luckily we managed to get them apart quickly. Never risk it. Best way to part a fightig pair is to drop water on them and trap one under a box or tub.
