Re: Willow's Thread
Willow here! So today I was sooooooo hot (Mummy said it got to 32 degrees C!) and nowhere was cold enough to sleep, even my special cold tile, so I've been up ALL DAY! And mummy wasn't even there because she was at this silly "school" thing!

Re: Willow's Thread
Hey Willow, it's Harvey here,
I thought it was hot here in Scotland but where you are is more hotter.
I've taken to sitting in my sputniks, mom has had both fans on and I've been getting lots of treats of fruit and veg. Mom says it's important to keep myself hydrated.
If only we hams had a summer coat, mom mentioned about a zip and how all hams should have one.
Take Care & don't forget your Ham-sun block. xx

Re: Willow's Thread
Willow here! I'm very cross today because the new hamsters might be getting a cage as big as mine - so in protest I'm keeping mummy up until she gives me a yogurt drop

Re: Willow's Thread
Willow here! Today was very boring but I made a HUGE nest and I slept in it for a while but then I moved and mummy thought I was in the big bed but I wasn't so she had to search for me!

Thank you! It really was massive, she's taken pretty much all the substrate from that half of the cage and piled it up in one corner!

Re: Willow's Thread
Willow here
Today mummy woke me up (how dare she?!!) and put me on a bed - still no tissue bedding I see! - and put a plate of vegetables in front of me and told me to eat up!
Now in protest at being told what to do AND being woken up I refused to eat them. Not a morsel. It was very hard though as they looked and smelt VERY yummy! What REALLY annoyed me though was that she gave them to the other hamsters afterwards!
Here's a few cute pictures of me:

Re: Willow's Thread
Hi Willow!
I positively HATE being woken up and if I was told what to do like that I'd stamp my paws and moan and complain until I went home again! I know my pink human lady will still leave me the treat though, so I'd just gobble it up when she wasn't looking!
My pink human lady still doesn't have tissue in her nest either?! I mean, I know it's hot at the moment so I refuse to sleep in mine, but at least I still have it! She's NEVER had any!! Maybe she doesn't know what it's for ...?!
