I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a terrible sinus infection, Thin Lizzy. I'm glad that you are feeling better though. Sorry, Master Harvey, but I couldn't help giggle about your hamtrums! I know I'm naughty to do so, but I am just imagining how cute you must have looked throwing them. Thin Lizzy, I know that he must be thoroughly enjoying all of his extra cuddles since you have been feeling like yourself more. His hamtrums are probably also a result of him missing and loving all the wonderful attention you shower him with on a daily basis. It is just proof of your special, loving bond with one another. It's been weird getting back into my usual routine and Master Harvey's,
for a couple of days I felt so tired and decided to put Harvey's routine times into my phone so I didn't miss them. He's now so used to the alarm on my phone going that yesterday he was straight out his house and onto his cube, that so made me giggle. He's been getting so spoiled the last few days and he sat on his cube still for over 10 minutes as I gently stroked him, his little eyes closing and then opening as if to say 'Keep going mom'. Of course I obliged. I've also been keeping him up to date on his ham-friends and the hurricanes. He of course will worry about Eros and hopes she has 'ham-bands' and a water proof carry cage should she ever need to evacuate.

Harvey's still doing his hamnastics and I join him when he does his long stretches.
A couple of days ago I opened his cage door and told him I had bought pecan nuts and these little ears shot up from his cube and he climbed out and he got a pecan coated nut in the seriously strong soft cheese, his little face lit up and as I held it out to him he gently licked my fingers so delicately and then he was off to his house with his special treat.
I can only eat pecan and walnuts with the soft cheese, without the cheese I struggle to enjoy them.

It's so good to hear that you are doing better each day, Thin Lizzy. I hope that you will be less tired with each passing day. Wonderful idea to set an alarm for Harvey's daily routine, and I couldn't help giggle that he came rushing out when he heard it going off. What a sweetheart coming out to meet you on cue with the alarm. Aww, how sweet that you had a nice long stroking session, too. I couldn't be happier for the two of you - such wonderful life moments! I'm glad that Harvey enjoyed the pecan topped with delicious cheese.

Eros, Snickers, and I are doing fine at the moment. Family in harms way has evacuated but may need to evacuate again, but we are now doing last minute preps to prepare for Hurricane Irma hurricane warnings, tropical storms, tornadoes, severe flooding, and power outages. Quite scary, but we are praying that hopefully things will be looking better soon. We are also keeping our thoughts and prayers on all those suffering due to this and all the other natural disasters. I will keep you updated whenever I have a chance, but unfortunately my cell doesn't have internet so I may not be able to go on HC much if we truly do get the power outages, etc. that they are expecting. Until then, please try not to worry; we are getting as prepared as possible.

So pleased that you are over the worst now TL. Don't overdo it getting back to normal. Except in the case of Master Harvey's routine that is! He is so quick to pick up on things, such a clever boy indeed. Especially when he gets such wonderful treats.

Cypher, it's been rather amusing watching him answer to my phone alarm, he's a much happier ham now he's getting so much attention.


Coco, today I felt much better and Master Harvey's such a clever boy sensing when I'm not feeling good and so enjoying having his mom back and getting lots of love and treats.
He played his lollipop sticks very loudly this morning and I listened and watched him, he even stopped to make sure I was still there and I encouraged him to continue which he did. Felt so proud.

I'm sure that is all your mum needs to regain her strength and put a huge grin on her face. What pride and joy you must have felt watching him. He is one special ham.
