If he could've got out I'm going to suggest that maybe he wanted me to rescue him so he had a reason to forgive me  lol

Alfie was a very good boy today, I checked on him this morning and must've either not shut the cage door or done it very badly so it was open when I got home tonight  thankfully he either didn't notice or decided it was too much effort to escape and he was snuggled up in his nest still! Very grateful for the lift off lid to his house right now and the fact that he's a lazy man ham!

I decided Alfie's cage was too close to the TV and thought the noise might be contributing to his lack of appearance in the evenings recently. I know he's awake because I can hear him scuffling around in his house but he refuses to make an appearance so this is Alfie's new location:
The radiator is off and the window opens into the conservatory so doesn't have any direct breeze that won't be combatted by the radiator on the other side of it so I'm happy with the temperature of it and its much quieter there so hopefully I'll start to see more of him soon

Only just moved him and I've already moved the food! Put him back in the cage and he immediately started bar chewing :/ doesn't matter that he's got all the food in the tubs in his cage somewhere he needs to escape to get to the giant stash he's stopped now though so that's a relief!

The cage move has done wonders! Alfie is now up and about at 10.30-11 now instead of past midnight! Here he is in his Sputnik
