Introducing Gus :)
So I finally got a picture of my gorgeous little boy - this is Gus! Gus is the name of the mouse in Cinderalla. Just like in the film; Gus is a very nervous fella, although he's quite happy to take treats from me now

Re: Introducing Gus :)
He's a sweetheart Tonight's the first night since I brought him home that he's actually been awake at a reasonable time (for me, not him haha) so I guess that means he's settling in well. He's still reluctant to take anything from the palm of my hand but will happily put his paws on a treat to eat it while I'm holding it. He's currently running on his wheel, having a whale of a time by the sounds of it I hope this order from Viovet comes tomorrow so I can put him some new toys in his cage. He does seem quite happy with his wheel, climbing his bars and scavenging for food (scatter feed) though, and there's been no bar chewing! I think that he's quite content

Re: Introducing Gus :)
Well done Gus. Coming out early does have benefits. Tasty treats and in time play etc out of your home.

Re: Introducing Gus :)
It certainly does! He especially loves meal worms, although I'm trying to limit them as I know they're very fatty. I gave him one through the bars and then he gave me those eyes as if to say 'just one? but I love you' haha. I tried offering him a sunflower seed but he wasn't interested
