New Hammie
Sadly one of my dwarf hamsters died on Monday so today I bought a new furry friend,, she is a Syrian with one Black eye and one Red, she is settling into her new home, so in a day or two I will start taming. I just need a name for her now

Re: New Hammie
Welcome, sorry for your loss..
Sounds like you have a unique hamster with his eyes!
It's recommended to leave your new hammie completely alone for a week or so, till they feel secure in their new home.

Re: New Hammie
Hi and welcome! She is gorgeous! I have a hamster or two with one red and one black eye, but I think it just made them even more beautiful!

Re: New Hammie
Welcome along, nice Hammy have you thought of 'Two Eyes' as a name? Reminds me of stories I heard as a kid about Two eyes the baby woolly mammoth, who had eyes of different colours.

Re: New Hammie
So sorry to hear of your dwarf passing away.
Congratulations on your beautiful hammy!
Give her at least a week to settle in before you start taming her.
Do the tissue trick so she gets familiar with your scent.

Re: New Hammie
Thanks for the advice I plan to just lay my hand in the cage with seeds for her then work up to a little bit of stroking. Baby steps all the way
