Re: Pippins thread
Hi Folks and Hammies,
The funniest thing happened tonight, Pip got the Hiccups it was most amusing, they stopped after a couple of minutes, I guess that is what you get for trying to fill your pouches and eat at the same time, greedy girl..............

Re: Pippins thread
Lol! Twinkle's had the hiccups too, her eyes are bigger than her belly, thinking she can cram it in while munching.

Re: Pippins thread
Hello Sweep, Twinkle and everyone else..
It is Pip's human here, wanted to share this though I am sure Pip will not be impressed....
Pip has taken to sleeping in her house, on her back with her bum sticking out of the door opening... Pikey .....???
Also I tried her with a new large wooden hamster cottage as she is getting too big for her small hamster house, and boy did she have a hissy fit refused to sleep in it and went off to sleep in her toilet house on the sand took all her bedding there as well, so I put things back to how they where...
In the near 6 weeks we have had her she has doubled in size....
I'm sure Pip will be on sometime later if she can be bothered to get up....

Re: Pippins thread
Lol! The images! If you put a tunnel or tube or bendy bridge over the entrance to a new house it sometimes tempts them to go in and nest there because it makes it nice and dark inside

I did this with Sweep's house and he sleeps I there now. I also put substrate on the roof to make it seem lik it was "underground"! You could try that too?

Re: Pippins thread
Hello Everybody,
I have had to put Madams new house back in her cage though I have put the contents of her old house in it so she has a familiar smell, as she can't stay in her current house, she is getting so large I will rename her Podge or Pudding at this rate,(wonders can you get a hamster space hopper?) she devours so much food even though she hoards too.
I think she is just lazy, doesn't use her wheel anymore though I think it is too small for her now, she only goes in her ball when she wants to, if you put her into it she sits and sulks......

Thanks pinkneon, the wheel she has is probably just 6" anything larger I will have to do a major revamp of her accommodation, such as remove one of her mezzanine levels.
