Re: Pippins thread
Hi Willow, Sweep, Harvey and everyone else,
It's me Pip, my Pet Human has informed me that he is going to start making things for me to put in my cage...
I know he means well but what is 'making things'? He says he has a large box of hardwood tongue depressors, what ever they are and he will build things for me cage....
Last night I had a special treat night , I had Cheese and Narna I have not had Narna for absolutely ages and it was so nice after my long run in my ball..
He (human pet) has also told me that he is getting a new flashy camera thing that will make me look even better than before... Before what I ask, do I not look the most sweetest Hamster in the whole world now? How can I be better than that? He is a silly human...

Re: Pippins thread
Hi Folks,
I have had to take the front off of Pip's Trixie wheel as she has chewed into the corners and has left sharp pointy edges...!
I am also considering getting her up at say 20.00hrs every night as she is getting up later and later quite often not till nearly midnight, and she is firmly in her house when I get up at 05.00...
I am at a bit of a loss as to how to make her cage more interactive, as she just ignores any thing that gets put in there after a brief inspection, any ideas folks?

Re: Pippins thread
Do you think she's just reacting to the shorter days & colder nights? They can get a bit reclusive & less active in winter.
Have you tried making treat toys to hide her food in?
I generally find different ways of hiding food are usually the best way of getting them busy & interested again, as long as they haven't had too many treats to bother

Re: Pippins thread
Hi everybody,
Had a minor crisis in the fact that my lap top died so have had to go get another, just when you don't want a new added expense with Christmas looming ever large on the horizon.....
So as Pip was being photogenic again I grabbed some more pics to bore you all with....
Pip doing her Buddha pose in her adapted wheel..
Pip just being Pip waiting at her cage door to get out for a run.....
Pip in her ball looking mischievous........
