Re: Pippins thread
Hi Sweep, its me Pip my pet human says that he has made a video what ever that is of me and put it on the interweb so that people from all over can see me being "naughty".
Well I am keeping up the side by being naughty as usual, I had a go in the giant wheely thing tonight too it was good though I was kinda scared of it at first.
I have been out running about in my ball tonight too but am now going to have a snack and probably a snooze, TTFN. Pip

Re: Pippins thread
Hi Pip! I was given some of that stuff named "carrot" but I havent eaten it yet. And also had something named "apple" as a treat as the pink human lady had got some of those little fruit bags from somewhere for this very little human person she is looking after. But, I didn't get a chance to eat the "aple" because it did something very odd! It changed color because I didn't eat it! So it was taken away!
Pip, I watched your video-thing. You looked very funny trying to eat your food from under your house - you should have just gone inside! Silly Pip. Am glad you liked the big wheel-thing!

Re: Pippins thread
Hey Rads, there was a point where I thought Pip was going to push the house of the plastic shelf, she may not burrow but, placing her house in the substrate instead will prevent that happening.
That pic of her clutching onto the cage bars made me smile, I have one of Twinkle doing just that.

Re: Pippins thread
My last ham refused to burrow too. Weren't you talking about an upgrade in cages for Pip anyway? It'll be interesting what destruction she will achieve in a new home. Haha

Hi T-Liz I took your advice and have given Pip's cage a make over and moved her house etc, she seems ok with it had a serious explore when I put her back in after a lengthy run about the house, half of the time following me around...

Re: Pippins thread
Hi Sweep, it's me Pip,
What an evening I have had, I have been out and about quite a lot in my ball thing following my human around while he was doing things which also meant getting in his way hehehehe as he was cooking what ever that means.
I had some nice treats too first I had some Pak-Choi which is always welcome and most tasty and crispy, I also had something called Bamboo Shoot that was also very nice too I will allow Mr human to feed me that again...
Well then to my shock Mr human did things with my cage he and mrs human called it a makeover I am a little confused but have new things to explore so I will see if I can create more mischief.....

Re: Pippins thread
Ooh Pip a makeover sounds good! I am currently sulking as I'm not allowed to be played with today. Apparently the pink human lady has sometihng named "sore throat" whatever this is, so it means I can't come out to play! Not fair! This "sort throat" thing has a lot of explaining to do! Especially as it means she is once again listening to stuff in a funny language that I don't understand! It doesn't sound like Hamster language, and I wish she would learn that!!
Pip, what is "pak-choi" and "bamboo shoot"? I have never heard of these!

That's much better! Because that house comes apart and being on that shelf had me concerned because if it fell over it could break apart and hurt Pip.
And from the amusing video, Pip liked to push the house to the edge. xx

Re: Pippins thread
The makeover looks good. I much prefer their houses on top of substrate. She really is a little cutie.

Re: Pippins thread
Hi Pip, my name's Custard! I'm a Syrian hamster too and am new on this Hamster Central. I've just been making friends with your good buddy Sweep. He's been telling me all about his pink human lady who's exactly like mine - she does lots of strange things and doesn't speak hamster either!
I would also like to find out about this "pak choi" and "bamboo shoot". Are they tasty? So far I've only tried "nana" and the thing called "courgette" which was nice but not as sweet.
I saw the video your pink human posted of you being 'naughty', I thought it was very funny. Mischief keeps them on their toes!
