Yeah that's true. He does have quite a lot, but I guess that doesn't show too well in the photos! Plus most he dug into a corner over his sand LOL. I used 2 lots of 1kg packs of it! Once he's a little more settled I'll add some more
You sound like you're settling in to your new home very well indeed. Your Mummy has been really excited to meet you and you will get used to her paws soon
Cookie, my own hamster, is moving into a larger, more spacious, home either tomorrow or Sunday. I'm just waiting for a couple more things first for her.
Your colour and markings are just gorgeous

Hello everyone! Sweep here again.
Last night I built an even bigger nest right in the middle of this place I am in, and then I decided to sleep behind it! The pink human lady keeps asking me why I put everything in one corner of my home. Well maybe I like it there! She says if I keep there then I can't play on it but she says she won't move it because she doesn't want me to get upset!
I have also done more digging and all the stuff I sleep on is in another corner! And my sand is still missing ... Must go digging again to look for it! Oh, a peanut! Nom nom!

Hi hamsters! Just me again, Sweep.
I am feeling happy because I got more of this stuff in here to dig in! I also got a very tiny play in this ball and a peanut in it's shell. Nom nom! And I let the pink human lady stroke me a little bit before I went back to sleep. Oh, and I decided the round thing isn't so scary after all - actually, it's quite fun!
The pink human lady has been holding up that black box thing again, saying she was "trying to take some pictures". So here are some, and of this place I am in!
*So ... In order ...
1) Cage from distance (doesn't look like there is much in it, but I have added substrate on top of some things - you will see in other pics!)
2) Now there is more substrate he can reach the chew stick, and he has his play cube there too, along with a chew toy tree, and his pink wooden chew. Hi apple shaped bowl is on the top, and the substrate is on top of the house - and he's taken the bedding out!
3) Hide and Sweep! He has made his nest massive, and is now sleeping in it! (You can just see him!)
4) The house, now covered in substrate, with the bowl on top. Had hoped he'd use the house now and the substrate would make it warmer, but don't think he want to sleep in there! So it's a good hidey hole anyway
5) Large Savic Rolly Wheel - I ordered this after the Trixie wheel, to keep as a spare but as the Trixie wheel hasn't turned up yet he has this one. Surprisingly it doesn't make a sound!
6) His potty with the Chinchilla sand in
7)Rainbow Bridge, sitting on top of the edible log (which I turned on it's side) covered in substrate
Rainbow bridge and edible log again
9) Two wooden chews - purple eggplant and yellow banana
10) Whole cage again
Nice home Sweep. You have more fun digging and arranging your toys how you like. You are a good boy chewing things that are meant to be chewed. They will help your teeth to not grow too big.
It's the thing that joins the back and front to the stand ... It's a bit hard to describe - in order for the wheel to stay attached to the stand with the metal screw thing it has another yellow bit between the wheel and stand. The front yellow bit has a bit with a long hole in where the screw goes through. Think it might partly be to help cover up the screw? Not totally sure! I was a little surprised when it came like that, especially as the stupid cardboard was stuck in the middle so I had to unscrew it and then figure out how to put it all back together! It doesn't seem to get in the way though ... I wonder if it is also something to help make it quieter? I know these wheels used to be really noisy, but it makes no sound at all!
I could have attached it wrong I suppose, but there doesn't appear to be any other way of doing it ...
