This is the one I got It has a hole big enough for a syrian, which most of them don't. It also seemed nice quality, fairly smooth inside and no sharp bits, although I did pick of the odd little nobble inside. Seems a bit expensive on Amazon at the moment though.

Seems cheaper on ebay

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
I got Pip a coconut 'pod' from p@h it is a very good size and not expensive, but Pip has not had any interest in it at all, I think she went in it once to investigate and that was it.

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
Hope you get a good rice for the duna maxi. Woodstock is so laid back. He has never chewed any cage and doesnt monkey bar even though he could easily reach from the top of his lief cabin.
Hopefully Sweep will be all impressed and interested when his new cage arrives and will be too busy with all the exciting things you put in for him to chew bars!

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
Twinkle didn't give her coconut much attention when she first got one at 10 weeks old but, when she did she got very attached to it and is still today. She's on her 3rd coconut.
I put some new treats in it and that got her in.

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
Hi all. Sweep here
I went to the play place last night. And found this new thing in there to play on! It was a bit hard cos I kept slipping. Apparently it is named "flying saucer" ... I think it must have come from an alien
Here is me checking it out!

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
Sweep looks so sweet on the flying saucer. After a bit of practising he should stop slipping off, it a bit like when they first get a wheel they always look a little confused as what to do but as soon as the get the hang of it you can't get them off.
