Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
It must have been a very stressful time for Sweep but I'm sure he'll settle soon now he knows he's somewhere he's going to be well taken care of.
Hope you feel better soon.

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
Hey Pinkneon,
Seems like I've missed an awful lot in the last few months. I was sad to hear that Sweep can't come with you to your new place, but it's good that he is going to stay with someone he's familiar with and who has a lot of hamster experience. I think once the shock of the big move has passed he'll settle down well and feel much more like himself, especially since the house will have smells he remembers from staying there before

No I went to get it but they said they've changed the criteria for who can have it or something. But I have a new gp now who I'm seeing tomorrow so they will decide if I can have it once I'm feeling better

The girl in Poundland had the flu jab and her arm bruised and swelled up, it looked awful. So much for there not being any side effects. So glad I've refused it every year.

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
I haven't heard much from flakeyflake about Sweep. Last time I spoke to her she said her Internet was down and Sweep was doing OK though was still very nervous!
I am planning Sweep a special Christmas package, though he won't get it until after Christmas now, so will be a joint birthday present for him! I can't believe he is almost 1!!

I'm not exactly sure. I got him 8th March and he was 8 weeks old so I counted back 8 weeks on the calendar which took me to January 12th so I made that his birthday!

I got Pip on the 5th of March and she was about 8 weeks old aswell, so I guess that Pip should be 1yr old on or around the 9th of Hamuary..!
