Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
Chesca, not he hasn't been weighed recently ... Once he's settled in I'll ask flakeyflake to do a health check. It could be that he's been very stressed maybe? At first i thought it was because possibly there wasn't as much bedding in the carrier as I usually put in, but if there was less it was only a very small amount. There was a lot less toilet paper in there but seeing a toilet paper doesn't weigh anything I doubt it'll be that ...

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
So glad to hear you got to spend some time with your lovely man Pinkneon & that he's now settled & safe again, I'm sure you must miss having him with you very much but such a relief to know he's being well cared for now.

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
I think Sweep will be back to his normal self soon pink, it's not surprising he felt a bit lighter, he'll have missed you but now flakeyflake has him and he knows her he'll soon settle.
With him going to a HC member, we all know he's going to be looked after. xxx

Pink, these so called friends that have kept some of Sweep's toys and his stocking has me thinking that they're going to get a hamster for the kids.
The way they've treated you is awful and you don't need friends like that.
P S. I told Harvey that Sweep is with flakeyflake and that he'll be able to keep in touch with him.
Harvey says Hello to Sweep and flakeyflake xx

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
He'll soon bounce back. Charlie lost weight after our recent move. So did I! It probably is a bit of a stress thing, but I'm sure he'll be blooming and perky soon - just needs to settle in. Thanks for the updates Flakey Flake. I am sure Sweep know you are thinking about him Pink Neon.

Re: Being Sweep - the life of a hamster!
I spoke to flakeyflake last night. Sweep is still very nervous but has allowed her to hold him for just a few seconds. I am thinking he must have been highly stressed from where he was before as he knows flakeyflake and has allowed her to hold him before?
As for me, I'm sick! I think I have the flu, which is kot good!
