okay so i know quite a few of people are posting on herre about their hamsters (duh its a hamster forum!!) so i thought i would give it a go
poppy came from a reputable breeder and she was most unexpected
one day i was just browsing through pet ads when a picture came up for free baby hamsters. i rushed down to tell my mom and she was like they will be used for food. i was thinking about them all day and so i took it upon myself to rescue them (i had previously contactd a lot of local small pet rescues to help). so i texted the owner and asked if we could come and have a look at them well this guy took forever to contact us back (5-6 hours!!!!) . when he did i got the heartbreaking message of they have all gone
i was distraught and all i could do was hope that they had found a good home or one of the rescues had come to take them all
.( i don't know how likely it is that they wouldve been but you know :'(). so as i was crying upstairs in my room i was on an other website that advertises pets for sale. and i noticed in the picture a fluffy hamster! i had wanted one forever!!!! so i messaged the rescue/breeder and she said she has one fluffy hamster left! i was so happy ! so we met the next day and she was trying to sell me these 8 weeek old ones and i was not having any of it! she said she handled them daily well...... they were runnin and jumping all over me and so it wasnt very helpful to someone with anxiety and she was ike' i know your scared but your scaring the hamsters!! i was like
maybe you should tame them!!!!!!! anyway i told her what i originally came for and thats when i met poppy!!! she wasstill nervy but she was a lot calmer than the others!! so i ook her home and now we are the best of friends!!
