Hello All!
It's been sadness and gladness since my last post, our sweet Agent Specs passed away, but he was not unwell and was his normal self right until the end. It turned out he was a lot older than we initially guessed, which probably accounts for how timid he was having spent so long without being handled! We are happy to have had him for the time we did, and hopefully it was a good life for him with us.
Having decided to give hamsters a wee rest in favour of something a bit longer living, I of cource ended up bring home another wee rescue case. We have had him now for for about 10 weeks, and he is quite the character! He was only five weeks old when we got him, brought in as one of an unwanted litter, and it was very strange for us to have a hamster so small after our two previous Lumpkins!
He has grown a bit now but is still quite small!
He is super adventurous, totally unafraid of anything, and a massive attention seeker! If you are going to be in the room, you had better be ready for cuddle demands and a wee grump when it's time to go back in the tank. He managed to escape my custom built play pen (which I can only just climb in to!) in less than five minutes, something neither of the last two had ever managed. He has also already learned every point of exit from the tank if the lid is removed, worked out how to run upside down on the lid, and learned to scale the vertical bars of the detolf! (I still don't know how he manages to grip it!).
We have started leaving a heavy textbook on top of the lid, if there is a way to move them, he will find it!
Anyway, to introduce you all to him, here is a festive first offering! I'm trying to provide more information about tank design, so I'm looking to get any suggestions on what you would like to see next, or if there is anything in the videos that would be worth providing info on so more hamsters can enjoy it
So please remember to subscribe, leave me a comment, share with your friends and don't forget to select HD!
Merry Christmas!

P.s Did you know a festive tank is the perfect way to brighten up a house that's too small for a Christmas tree? Just make sure anything that is not hamster safe a kept well away from the tank entrances! There are lots of fun ways to liven up the inside safely to give your hamster his own festive fun too
Plus it looks so pretty, Pumpkin and his tank were our Christmas card photo this year
