P2's Thread

This is P2, and he likes to sleep in the open. In the corner, on his potty, beside his hideout but rarely inside.

For his first hideout, I was only able to provide him with a cereal box (because I was too excited to own a hamster). I caught him sleeping inside it but..

Then I made a hut using brown paper bag but...

He stored his food inside it though and chewed it to ruins.

*was too drunk and fell asleep on my potty*

Bought him this hideout when he turned 1 month old (from when I got him, don't know his real birthday). And yeah, that's how you should use it..

The only good thing with this is that i can check up on him, and take pictures as well, without disturbing his sleep. i also noticed that when he's, scared he wouldn't hide. instead, he would go to his food bowl. He's a stress eater i guess.. like me haha he's so cute

Gosh he looks cuddly! Look at him in that last picture! Never have I seen a hamster that comfortable!

He's difficult to tame though. As much as I want to play and cuddle with him as often as we could, I can't because he gets easily nervous when awake. Unlike when he sleeps--it's so peaceful and so calm. Watching him sleep is very relaxing.

That is so cute!! My hamster rarely falls asleep anywhere but his house. As a matter of fact, he pushes bedding up to the door of his house so no light goes in. Only once he fell asleep in his wheel from running so much, but that lasted about 45 seconds.

I learned that P2 doesn't like to stay inside his hideoutsss because of the hot temperature and he sleeps wherever he feels cooler. So i tried a mug hideout this time. Still.. Haha I forgot the part where i should put it in the fridge first though haha was too excited
