I know we would name him Cangshu, but my fiancé likes Harry better in the end.

He's all settled so i think we'll do a little fotoshoot tonight

Good thing my better lens got back from repair yesterday.

He is quite small, but i think he'll get a bit bigger still too.

P.s. there will come a female too and yes, we are planning for a cute litter.
They're both from good breeders and both know we want to have a litter with them

I just have to get my genetics back up :P

Harry's dad is a dingyblack white banded longhair and his mom was a black longhair carrier. Our new female still to be born, but her dad is a champagne and her mom is a gold longhair satin. Not sure if dad is a carrier of longhair and satin, so we'll see abou that

Hi Cangshu, Harry is such a cutie!! How old is he? I love the big tufts of longhair fluff over his back legs, they look like wings!!

Have you bred hamsters before or will the breeders you are getting your hamsters from support you through the breeding process? Will you be keeping all the pups yourself?

He's 10,5 weeks old. Born at may 4th

I fell for his little fluffy tufts too, haha!

I have bred winter whites, so it's not exactly like that, but i know the do's and don'ts

I know genetics, but i have to dig a little after 6 years :P Both breeders will help me out if i need them, but not neccesarily mentoring me. We probably will keep one or 2 ourselves

The rest will be sold to other breeders or to hamsterlovers

That said, it wouldn't be a problem if they wouldn't find new homes tho. But i highly doubt that, haha.

Harry's well used to us already!

He often looks towards us from behind the glass and he's so cute! I love him already!

His aquarium is behind our dining table, so we're around him pretty often too since we like to play card games on that table. So he gets his attention :P

I'll make another photoshoot somewhere around tonight or tomorrow

AWW! He's amazing!

He looks like a Harry - great naming choice! Adorable!

He also seems very tufty. The camera and I simply love him! You must make sure that the pups go to very good homes because the Harry certainly looks like he's show quality! I love his pink little nose, he's just too charming!

The hamsters will be rehomed through Dutch hamster forums and through My facebook pages and rodent groups

So no second han websites or something like craigslist, i really hate those, since you never know ho they are doing later on.

Although.. i think Harry will go on Back2Nature next time around. Woodshavngs tend to get stuck in his tufts.

I gave Harry a clean habitat yesterday and i think it's safe to say he loves it :P
He wandered around for an hour, looking around and sniffing all his new stuff, haha.

Right, digging box with lava rocks as stairs (he loves this so much! and keeps his nails short too), food bowl and silent spinner.

Left, water bowl and chinsand bath with wood and lava rocks, silent spinner and toilet paper roll

I'm working on more, but i'm a bit out of inspiration, haha.
