Good news that he has gone back home again! Maybe it was something to do with Jarvis arriving. Nice he is still enjoying his sputnik. I had had to the "bum leverage" manoevre as well, to get Charlie out sometimes, but it doesn't seem to work for me ha ha. Charlie is hard to budge. He has worked out if he sits between two rooms under the doorway I can't lift him out.

Glad it's going well with Mocho, that was quite a neat maneuver in the sputnik there!
The treats are definitely doing the trick & you're doing a great job with him. Fingers crossed his is enjoying them enough to come out each night, I know how mine feel about having the roof taken off the house by pesky human so I can understand you not wanting to need to do that!

Nice to hear that Jarvis is visiting again & showing GrannyHam his appreciation too

Weekend report-Wheat germ is clearly established as a highly regarded treat. No trouble with that (thought the humans find it rather lacking in taste on top of cereal!). Next I tried kitten food cod flavour. An absolute no-no. Mocho does not like meal worms so I was not sure this one would work. A box of kitten food pouches is 50% fish flavour so they will have to go elsewhere! He simply sat in his Sputnik unmoved and clearly disapproved. So I binned it and hastily made some porridge which disappeared in no time-relief. Tonight was the cauliflower cheese and that too went without trouble.
So I need a couple more changes and think I will get another baby food and toast has been mentioned by others here on HC. I don't know how quickly I could expect to see his fur grow back but tonight I dared to hope that it might look better and certainly no worse. If so then this medicine could be helping to control the symptoms. By the time of the review with the vet things will be much clearer.

Glad he likes wheatgerm Do mealworms taste like fish? Or am I being dense there I hope his fur is growing back. It certainly sounds like he is enjoying all his tasty treats and extras and it's so good he takes the medicine along with them without realising.

I bought a pack of mealworms originally but he always ignored them and I gave them to my daughter for Jarvis and Loki. They smelt fish like to me but I confess I was never tempted to taste one to see!
Just realise that another option could be using a selective science biscuit to make a paste including the medicine.
Jarvis benefits from getting some of the leftovers of the treats as I always make a bit too much. So he is very happy too.
