A thread for Luna

I thought it was about time Luna had a thread for herself.

Luna is a 6 week old black Syrian hamster. She joined us here on Thursday and has very much made herself at home in that time.

She is a real character, very confident and interested in everything! I knew she was coming home with me when I was sat on the floor of the shop handling her and she curled up in a ball in the crook of my arm and had a nap. She is now happily accepting being hand fed, and will come when she hears me if she is already awake (she has to check if i have any treats, of course

) She is now happy for me to stroke her on the back & sides quite happily - no flinching, tensing or freezing

No way! I just got a black Syrian hamster today and named her Luna! She has some gray fur on her belly so my mindset was that she was dark like the night and had gray like the moon! And plus, it's a Spanish word and my family is mainly Spanish speakers so everyone can pronounce it! Your Luna is adorable!
