Little Ava Terese
Ava is such a troublemaker!!
She loves rolling around in her ball, and trying to escape her bin cage!
I haven't trained her yet, even though she is already 5 months old, and she is very hesitant to humans. Any tips for training her in a safe way so that I can hold her without her nipping?

Re: Little Ava Terese
Aw, hello cutie!
There are some great threads on here about taming your hamster especially if you are a bit nervy about being bitten. Also there are some good ones on YouTube from Erin's Animals & Hoppinghammy amongst others. The best bit of advice I can give you is take it slowly & let your hamster dictate the pace you go at. A lot of things you read can be a bit "stage 1: in a week. Stage 2: after two weeks" etc but all hamsters are different & they'll tell you when they are ready to move on from each stage
