Re: Meet Otto <3
Yeah guys I completely agree it wasn't something I would have got for someone as a present. And no. I hadn't spoken about having a hamster, but the wierd thing is my mum was upset because she was going to get me one aswel?! I LOVE animals. And I'm quite hard to buy for, although I also like fluffy socks! Haha. I work at a design agency so all of the presents are fairly quirky but Otto was a very random choice. I've spent a fair bit of money upgrading his cage (he came in one of those stupid tiny things) and making sure he's got enough to do, I was told an 8" wheel was big enough, that was a mistake, I'm worried he won't stop growing haha. But all in all I wouldn't mistreat him and even if I didn't want a hamster there is no way I'd let him go to anyone else. He's my baby
An in umbrous silver grey band. Ok. Thats a mouthful :') thankyou Nancy's hamsters.

Well, I'd tell your mum not to be too upset - you'll soon want another! One hamster is never enough You start figuring out where you could put another cage, tell yourself that you already have the bedding, food & could split some of the toys between them & before you know it.....

Haha, I wouldn't want to get another one just yet, I have an elderly dog and he takes up quite a bit of my time, wouldn't be fair to get another one, I just would have time for it. Otto loves running into my dog in his ball, my gerbil loved my dog, she used to climb all over him, he must be fun looking aha

Maybe you could give your mom a wish list of hamster related things you need since Otto was unexpected
