That's really good to hear, I guess some hams are just more nervous by nature than others but she seems to be coming along just fine

Just found out that Aria's package containing her $40 saucer was delivered today in the morning. However, it's no where to be found. I'm really worried and mad that it might have been stolen from my porch. There have been news stories saying that packages have been stolen. This one lady was driving around in a UHAUL collecting people's packages. She got released on bail and they caught her doing it again within 48 hours. Now it's off to the post office tomorrow to see if I can find it or find out what happened to it.
It's currently 3:38 in the morning and I am not at all sleepy.

My room mate just woke up and it turns out that we got a couple packages in the morning. He took my package by mistake thinking that it was one of his. So thank goodness I've found it!!!

Things have been coming along with Aria. My roommates did have some company over for Christmas and they succeeded in stressing out Aria and my cat. This did set me back taming wise but things are good.
She still likes to sleep in until the lights go out. However she doesn't mind me bringing her out around midnight. We were doing the tub method but the last couple of nights we've been hanging out on the bed. I make a blanket and pillow barrier around the bed so she doesn't fall off on accident.
She is on and off on being nervous but its nice to see her trust me so much to let me pet her.
I've nabbed some video clips and put them together. She's quite the funny little one.

I LOVE your photos and videos! She is just so pretty. As for being a nervous hammy, I can't get over how calm she is while you pet her, right down to her yawning. Great work with her Oatmeal Cupcake. Aria's doing wonderfully.

Thank you! Yes! I love her little face. I couldn't stop thinking about it since the first time I saw her. She looked like such a snuggle hammy. I'm so thrilled that she let's me pet her.

Thank you. Yes, she is pretty calm all things considered. It really does seem like she's coming out of her shell nicely. It's taken time and patience but it's been worth it.

I was walking past goodwill, my local thrift shop, last night and I saw this elephant by the shop window. As soon as I saw it I thought of what great little hidey-hole this would make for Aria. She loved it! She spent most of the time hanging out in it, playing and taking a bath.
This would've been an awesome and cutest prop for the February hamster of the month contest. Oh well, there's always next year.
So glad she loved it! She didn't want to leave it last night when playtime was over. Ha ha. I love it because it's so roomy! We all know how hard it is to find Syrian sized items!
