Lucky's Thread
Since most of the litter have gone to new homes I decided to make a thread for the last little one that is still searching for that special place. Lucky's sister is hopefully going to a new home soon, but for now she is with me. Her remaining brother is staying here as a family pet (not supposed to be mine, but I will probably be the one looking after him most of the time so will update on him in his thread).
Lucky is from a litter of 10, of which 5 were brought to me. Two found homes pretty quickly and are now enjoying their new lives. Unfortunately little Lucky, who has been the most skittish, has not had interest.
I've taken some pictures with her this morning, she was a bit shy but I'm doing my best to get her out to spend time with her and help her become more confident.
Will add the rest of the pictures later.

Re: Lucky's Thread
Lucky has possible interest now - though the potential owner isn't prepared for a hamster so it may take some time.

Re: Lucky's Thread
I don't think she would enjoy the Fed Ex journey unfortunately!
Lucky's potential owner has not messaged me back, so I can only assume she changed her mind and maybe did not want to say that she could not take her. It's been a few days so I'll see what happens, otherwise she is back up for adoption.

Re: Lucky's Thread
She is lovely SinNyx. My Ted E. was a real nervous, skitty, shy boy for almost 3 months. The longest I ever had a hammy take to tame. And he's such a wonderful boy now. He comes right out and loves outside cage time. You get such beautiful hammies. I wish I could have her. *sigh*

Re: Lucky's Thread
I've said it before and I'll say it again...hamster lovers should have their own country and remain there, that way people can be close enough to have some of the hamsters I rescue!
Lucky's owner has contacted me and will be making her a bin cage. She is in the middle of a move so hopefully if all goes well, Lucky will be going to a new home in two weeks.

Re: Lucky's Thread
Lucky is adorable and I am glad that she'll have a forever home to go to in a couple of weeks with a lovely bin cage too.

Re: Lucky's Thread
Lucky should be going to her new home on Sunday. Will be sad to see her go but glad she will be going somewhere where she will be loved for the rest of her life.

Re: Lucky's Thread
Lucky is still here with me after her owner never got in contact on the Sunday. Also still waiting for them to get back to me since Monday.
I am hoping she is able to find a home soon.
