Re: Charlie's thread
Glad you're feeling better Serendipity, there's a lot of the virus going round.
Now I couldn't see much in the video, for some reason it looked dark on my tablet but, I could hear Bonnie Prince Charlie nibbling away at his hay house and it made me smile. As for the Falcon, I reckon he was checking it out for the boy.

Re: Charlie's thread
It was a bit dark - sorry. It was pretty low light when I filmed it Yes February has not been a great month - everything seemed to knock me and I was quite run down - so I'm glad it's March now
Charlie was out for a bit for some photos yesterday - he does seem interested in small plastic people!

Re: Charlie's thread
Lol! Thanks Piebald. We are quite into Star Wars at the moment. I got the original trio of films for Christmas (tracked down the original versions) and we've watched all three recently and little boy asked for the 3 prequels which we're in the process of watching now, so he's nearly seen all 6. He's seen them before on TV but he's a bit older now and understands the stories better.
I saw the first film 7 times when it first came out at the cinema - I just kept going back So it was really nice to see it again on dvd without the later special effects added. The Millennium Falcon is finished and looks pretty impressive. Next time Charlie's out I'll let him sniff it again lol.

Re: Charlie's thread
Charlie likes that - he suggests your new hammy signs up for the HRN to find out the latest useful information (Hamster Resistance Network - published by Purdy Bear).
Charlie was out on the sofa tonight. Had a little nap in his donut bed, but then he was really naughty and tried to chew a piece off it, so I had to take him out of it. He sat there looking like a naughty baby and a bit sheepish and then went to sleep on my knee under the blanket.
He's still a bit iffy going back into the cage and seems a bit confused that there are two doors at the front of the cage. He wasn't keen on going through either of them, then sniffed his rat sputnik, so I lifted him up that way and he climbed into the Sputnik. That was his old way of going back in - unfortunately it hangs much higher - above the door level - in the Barney so he can't quite go back in that way - I had to put my arm in at quite an angle so he could climb into the sputnik. I'm sure he'll get used to the new small front doors eventually. Once he's in the cage, he's fine.

Re: Charlie's thread
Charlie, as much as you love your sputnik and getting into your cage through it, you are going to have to learn to like the doors on the front of the cage, because you don't want mommy's arm to fall off do you?! Either that or it might leave your cage and we can't have that either now, can we?!
