Lol - thanks Cypher and Katmick. He's only got the one wheel in his cage - the gigantic Wobust one. Unless he has a secret tunnel out of the cage to get to the flying saucer. I think he might be missing the flying saucer so must remember to get it out at playtime next time.

Lol - only just read this tonight and I have completely fallen under Charlie's spell also. He is very handsome and I also want to thank him for explaining what a Spudnik is and how to use one.

Going to keep reading this thread as it goes on as it's given me some ideas for when I get Lily (hopefully next week)

Mweekie xx

"Charlie is my darling..." Can't remember any more of that song. Just love his handsome looks.

Aww bless King Charlie sneakily getting the food out so he can stay in and wash his hair lol!
I think Charlie needs a throne and cloak to go with his crown lol.

Ah now they might well be distant cousins! I love that song 'Charlie is m'darlin! Actually we were listening to it the other night. I have a playlist of Scottish folk songs (which is why we are taking little boy to Loch Lomond on the way up next week!)

Charlie does seem to be affected by this change in his cage. He doesn't come out voluntarily at all at the moment and last night wanted to go straight back when I got him out and wouldn't relax at all. I'm not sure if it is the addition of the Wobust wheel and the change that has caused, or that he is missing the flying saucer. I let him have a run on the flying saucer out of the cage last night and he runs on it well with a straight back. I think he might be missing it. I do wish things didn't break! Then I could leave his cage alone. I think when I get the new cage I'll try and make room for both the wheel and the flying saucer.

All royal lines are mingled and mixed up to some extent, cousins sounds perfect! and don't forget that Cc and Hazel are either twins or doppelgängers so maybe she can discover her own lands and titles

Poor little Charlie you're so good to him Serendipity to be so careful of his moods. It's annoying that you can't explain to him why you have to keep messing with his stuff. If you have the saucer it would be great to get that in his cage, I hope he realises even a tiny little bit the efforts you go through to keep him comfy!

Nope - he just punishes me lol! Now if I had a detolf ...... Loads of space for the flying saucer as well as a wheel. But I just can't do it. It would take over a big part of the living room, disrupt other half's favourite chair, fill up little boy's bedroom with furniture I'd have to remove from the living room (as well as the hallway) and partially block access to the window - and mean moving the heater next to other half's favourite chair which he likes huddling over when he's cold and tired. He would hit the roof lol! With arguments like - the animal is getting preference over the humans (which I can throw back as he spends so much time with sheep ha ha). But no I can't really do it - and it would be huge to move when we eventually move house (although I could sort that). Unless - I somehow get him to think of it as an idea

At least you know you're doing what's best for him even if he doesn't realise it And um humans can take care of themselves for the most part (except the little ones of course) so animals should get preference sometimes! I'm having to think about moving this Detolf in a few months too, probably have to get the bf to hire a van or something ridiculous but we'll cross that huge awkward bridge when we come to it!

Hmmmm this has potential. . . First Charlie needs some lessons from Spike on working all the house-humans. You could assist by some dropped "Look Charlie wants to say hello to you" and put some tissues secretly in OH's pocket and later remove to Charlie's cage. Maybe get OH to feed him-- men need a task. Then you can ask him for suggestions about the set up. However, you then must accept at least one of those suggestions to get the credit you want so be careful here. This is a good start.
